dual-n-back "stuttering"
just me, or the program?

Slightly tweaked the application. Not sure if it will help the problem. Please let me know if you notice any changes.

Apparently you're not the only person to experience it. This will be investigated. Pardon my delay, the todo list is horrendously long now.

I agree. This is an amazing website. The variety of tests and exercises all for free is astonishing

Agree.

Tho' part of me suspects that we are contributing unwittingly to some vast research project.

Or, better, an anti-project for the wholesale upskilling of potential control subjects and consequent ruin of the diagnostic power of the standard experimental tests.

No problem, it's a wonderful free service. :) Thanks for the attention.

Never happened to me.

Oops. What I meant to write was: the dual-n-back program is "stuttering" for me a little, about once per round, locking up for a second and then giving the auditory stimulus, but skipping the visual stimuli. This messes up my scoring obviously. ;) I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this ... i.e., is it something wrong with my connection for example? Notably, I think I had this happen also from another computer and internet connection. Just thought I'd ask.

This is the reason why I use soakyourhead's version; although, I never brought it up.
