Auditory Reaction Time
Something weird is happening to me too, after 2-3 weeks of training from 200ms I was able to hit under 120ms average easily and from yesterday I can barely get 160,its impossible that my auditory reaction is the same as visual,I'm using Win XP

Auditory Reaction Time
How is it that I am getting averages from about 45-70ms, and sometimes hitting as low as 30ms for individual reactions, when times under 100ms are counted as false starts in track & field? Is it simply because my ears are closer to the output source that I'm able to get these scores?

I bet you are getting this under Mac OS X :)
I get from 35ms to 64ms using Chrome on
Mac OS X and from 100 to 150 using Chrome on
Win 7 x64 :)
I think the whole trick is in the
default latencies of the audio drivers in the OSes (and/or plus other factors of the hardware and the browser :))
But our results are still very good compered to the average :)

Nope, I'm using Windows 7 x86. I think something isn't working properly though... Last test my reactions were 42 32 42 42 52.
