Dual n-back training and computer programming ability
Hi all,
I suck at computer programming (never got beyond stacka/queues and recursion problems) and I was wondering how much (if any) of one's improvement in working memory tasks can transfer to programming skills.I had gathered so far that computer programming ability seems to hinge on the ability for abstract thought rather than working memory capacity -how true you guys think this is ?

You might be better at efficiency. You have to think of all the functions and subroutines and might be able to come up with better programming strategy. You'd understand your program better as a whole.
