I've found that holding my breath in just the right manner consistently improves my reaction time by 20ms. From the 180s to the 160s.

Just thought it was a tad interesting, :).

before hurling a spear at a mammoth i imagine my ancestors practiced holding their breath in the seconds before the toss, as it allows for increased precision and strength.. haha

I imagine it would be difficult to hold one's breath, aim, and straddle a dinosaur at the same time.

Put your eyes as close to the screen as possible such that the image fills your field of view.

That or get lucky. I've managed to get sub 30ms a few times, even as low as 16ms by concentrating very intensely. It almost borders on precognition....

Yep, did it just now, too. I'm the anon with 146.80ms record. None too shabby. My slowest was 216ms. Fastest was 16ms.

When is cogfun going to set up that precognition test we're all hankering for?
cevapcici | 3 years ago Reply
Need peer-reviewed studies published in reputable journals on the subject indicating a swath of overwhelming data which point to indubitable correlations that cannot be refuted with an ostentatious wringing of the hands first....

A precognition game would be a great opportunity to create our own dataset, publish results, stun the scientific community, win Nobel prize etc.
