Reading Span Task test problem
Reading Span Task test problem
The problem is the test stops and does not progress even I double checked the spelling. The first few tests went fine and I even progressed to level 3 then started getting this problem.
e.g. the last sentence I typed and caused the problem:
Then there was a season of waiting anxiety that weighted upon Huck's spirits like a mountain.
Does anyone else experience the same? Is there a fix? Am I doing something wrong?
THX

Here is the link. I get it in FireFox. I haven't tested it in IE yet.

I see nothing unexpected, aside from the fact that it should proceed automatically, even without a period at the end.
Incidentally, what version of Firefox are you using? The latest is 3.0.11, but there is also a 3.5 release candidate which is likely to be buggy in some respects.
Using 3.0.11, I encounter my bug but not yours so far that I can recall.

I have not encountered the Huckish sentence you point out, but might you be using Firefox?

As indicated therein, I had a problem with the test retaining the reached level at which I was working. Once I switched to IE, the problem resolved itself so that I have been able to reach what seems to be my actual RS.
I will admit, having had made unavoidable typographical errors, they are sometimes less than obvious and require close scrutiny.
If you are using IE exclusively (or some other browser), then you may want to try a different browser.

I am using FireFox and I did get it again. I believe it is a bug. I am going to try to run it in IE.
Is there a way to post my screen-shot?

This is rather peculiar. My problem persists with Firefox; namely, the test does not remember my latest score as the baseline for testing.
Let me know if the IE workaround proves worthwhile in your case as it does mine.
Perhaps cognitivefun isn't thoroughly aware of the problem.... I will send a message via the Feedback link.

Yeah. (I'm assuming you know the commands to make a screen shot.) Upload the file to a free image hosting site like Image Shack http://imageshack.us/ Then post the link for others to view.
It may be a bug. Even a problem like the one mentioned by argumzio wouldn't have occurred without some kind of bug, ideally (either with Firefox or cognitivefun itself - or both).
