Keep getting bumped
Keep getting bumped
This is the third day this happened. I sign on to the site, do a couple of exercises and then a screen comes up saying that I have done the exercises anonymously and whether I want to sign in. When I sign in again, I am bumped to a previous level. There seems to be some kind of a problem with your site.

I am aware of the problems but have been busy (with other research), sorry about that. I have been recoding several sections and will push them out ASAP, including the statistics errors, also the data export.

I suppose, having this opportunity, I can inform you that my PASAT percentage is 5% higher every time immediately after completion. When I go to the results page, the difference is shown by a 5% decline to what I assume is the correct percentage.
That much said, thank you for maintaining this lovely site.

Stats problems have been floating around for a while and they will be fixed after this session expiry problem. It's horrible...

I think someone needs a nice cup of tea. Chamomile? Green? :-)
I'm more than willing to wait. But I look forward to it all the same.

I'll take green, for the antioxidant flavonoids.
But I usually go with coffee: helps prevent tooth decay, increases alertness and short term memory (temporarily), and helps prevent dementia -- Alzheimer's and PD.
Great drinks, all of them!

ilex paraguariensis (yerba mate) is my personal favorite, however... just wish there werent so many polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (apparently from the processing)

It'd be great to have an adenosine receptor agonist on hand for occasional use in periods of caffeine withdrawal. That would presumably enhance the neuroprotective effects of caffeine-mediated adenosine receptor upregulation and possibly help one to maintain his sensitivity to caffeine for times when he needs a little boost in cognitive functioning and energy and doesn't fancy the idea of using amphetamines.
I presume, anyway, that the reason caffeine has beneficial long-term effects on cognition is that it upregulates adenosine receptors, whose agonism is associated with neuroprotection. Are there any other components to its pharmacodynamics of which I am not aware?

not sure that the neuroprotection is solely due to receptor upregulation, but it is likely a component
