The auditory forward digit span test and the J/B dual n-back variant using non-German phonemes were added. I was thinking of updating the German phoneme version to follow the original protocol used in Jaeggi et al's paper more closely, but after trying it out myself, I began thinking the probabilistic model is actually better.
Capping the test to 20 trials speeds up the process a lot, but since there is a preset quota for targets vs non-targets in the stimuli, once the target quota is met, the cognitive load drops instantly.
Meanwhile, there are some users who are comfortable at the 7-back level on the n-back tasks, so the cap has been raised to n=9.
